Celebrate our birthday with us!

As you probably know, Craft Stamper celebrated ten years in print with our June 2010 issue. Pictured is a beautiful memento that Helen Chilton made for me to commemorate the event. It's all made up of images from the magazine and I shall treasure it always - thank you Helen :).

Now it's your turn to help us commemorate this milestone in CS history! As part of our celebrations we ran a great competition in June with ten fabulous prizes up for grabs. We've had some stunning entrires so far, and if you'd like to join in there is still time to enter right up until until 30th June.

All you have to do is create something with a birthday theme and either post it to us at the usual address or email an image to cs@traplet.com. It doesn't have to be a card, you can make whatever you like that fits the theme. And if you need inspiration don't forget their is a DT gallery of birthday cards over on our website here.

I can't wait to see your creations - good luck!

New issue and congratulations Susan!

The new issue is out tomorrow, Friday 4th December (well officially anyway, although I know some of the shops have it already).

For the first time, our January issue is not completely Christmas themed, so I hope you will like the change. We toned down the Christmas content as I know a lot of you have made your seasonal creations already - unlike me!

We have also revealed the results of our Stamper of the Year competition 2009. Susan Jenney's was crowned overall winner and for an extra special treat her canvas is featured on our front cover as the main image. Bet that was a shock heh Susan?! Instructions for creating Susan's canvas are here on our website - it's has so much going on we couldn't fit all the text into the mag!

Congratulations too to our category winners Clare Earl (best card) and Vicky Fothergill (best non-card creation).

I hope you will join me in congratulating Susan, Clare, Vicky and all the finalists.

Win show tickets

You may have seen the information in this month's Craft Stamper about a new show which we are sponsoring called Artisan. It's a show dedicated to the two crafts of stamping and beading and takes place in Leamington Spa on 3rd and 4th October this year.

Are you a budding stamp designer?

Then why not enter the competition in the March issue of Craft Stamper? Your design could be on the front cover of the magazine in a future issue and you will also get the chance to create samples with your cover stamp for publication in the same issue. Plus you will get £200 worth of stamps from Personal Impressions too!

Your stamp design can be absolutely anything you like, as long as it fits into a 44x44mm square. You can email or post your entries to us. Full details are in the March issue of the magazine. Good luck!
