Take It Make It Challenge: Winner's Profile!

Hello!
Welcome to our Winners Profile, showcasing the Design Winner of the latest Take It Make It challenge!
The very talented winner of the May 2019 challenge is:

Veronica Pell

Veronica won the challenge with this amazing project. We loved the stunning pop of colour in the amazing butterfly!

We asked Veronica a few questions about stamping (well, we are Craft Stamper after all!)

How long have you been a stamper, and how did you get started?

I bought my first stamp when I got fed up with quilling leaves to go with flowers, back around 1995. Then I bought a different leaf one, then one to go in the background ........and stamping took over from quilling!

What are your favourite kinds of stamps, and do you have a favourite stamp company?

Really can’t stand the very cute ones, but anything else is fine!
Favourite has to be Chocolate Baroque, with Hobby Art a close second.

Describe your style, are you a messy kind of stamper or a more ‘clean and simple’ kind of person?!

Definitely more messy, I never start out with a clear idea of what I am going to do. Hate fussy cards with lots of ribbon and bows, so I suppose more simple – I can do CAS when I try!

What kind of projects do you like creating the most?

Had to be cards, until I discovered how to stamp onto candles....
Now I'm trying more mixed media stuff occasionally.

Apart from stamps, what is the one product you wouldn’t be without when you craft?

It's hard to choose between Brusho powders and watercolour pencils.

We also asked Veronica to share a few of her favourite stamped creations with us, and to tell us why she likes them so much. Here are the works of art she has chosen:

"This was a monochrome card I created a while back, I loved doing this!" -Veronica

"This ia a card using a butterfly stamp to create a mask, I added a scene inside the frame and on the base card behind it" - Veronica

"The first canvas I have made, using CB stamps. I was really pleased with how it turned out" - Veronica

Congratulations on being our May Design Winner Veronica, it was lovely to learn a little more about you!
