Hello everyone, this is Trish. I promised that as soon as I could, I would share news regarding Craft Stamper magazine, so here I am. I'm so sad to have to tell you all that Craft Stamper magazine will not be publishing any more issues. I wanted to thank all our amazing designers, readers and subscribers for their immense support over the years. We would not have been able to share all the inspirational art within the CS pages without you all. I have been reading, contributing to, and latterly editing the magazine for pretty much all of the 20 years we have been in business, and I shall miss it immensely. I'm sure you all will join me in that sentiment. All subscribers will be getting a letter from tomorrow, explaining the finer details of what will happen with regards to any remaining issues due to them. That letter will also contain contact details should people wish to get in touch with the publishers.
The Take It Make It Challenges will of course also stop, thank you all so much for participating. We've loved looking at all the wonderful entries over the years.
Again, thank you all so much for your inspiration, your
creativity and all your kindness along the way. It's been a wonderful
journey! Keep on crafting everyone Much, MUCH love, Trish ❤️
I'm sorry to read this and thank you for all of the fabulous makes and articles published over the years - all the best

Marvel's Spider-Man was released for the PlayStation 4 video game console on September 7, 2018. The game received praise for its narrative, characterization, combat, and web-swinging traversal mechanics, although some criticized its open-world design for lacking innovation. Marvel's Spider-Man received a number of accolades including being named as one of the best superhero games ever made. It became one of the fastest-selling games of the year and one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games of all time. Insomniac supported the game extensively after launch, releasing a three-part story expansion titled The City That Never Sleeps and several new alternate costumes for Spider-Man. A remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man, featuring all previously released downloadable content, was released for the PlayStation 5 in November 2020 and for Microsoft Windows in August 2022. The game's success launched the identically named video game series, beginning with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a spin-off focused on Spider-Man's ally Miles Morales, in November 2020. A sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, is scheduled for release in 2023.
DeleteMarvel's Spider-Man is an open-world action-adventure game set in the borough of Manhattan in a fictionalized version of modern-day New York City. It is presented from a third-person perspective showing the playable character and allowing the camera to be rotated freely around them. The primary playable character is the superhero Spider-Man,[4] who can navigate the world by jumping, using his web shooters to fire webs that allow him to swing between buildings, running along walls and automatically vaulting over obstacles. The player can precisely aim webs to pull himself towards specific points. Physical objects are required to attach webs to for swinging, and momentum and speed of the swing can be controlled by releasing the web at specific points to gain height or move more quickly. The game features an optional fast travel system that uses the New York City Subway system.

ReplyDeleteSo very sad to hear the news. As others have said, Craft Stamper is the very best magazine for inspiration. I have every issue from the beginning and will treasure them all. Thanks to you, Trish, and all the contributors, artists and readers for sharing their talents with us. I shall miss you all.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad to read this. Craft Stamper was such an amazing magazine. Thank you for believing in me and publishing some of my cards! (so exciting!) Sending you the best of everything in your future endeavors.
ReplyDeleteThe very best quality of magazine for those stamping enthusiasts and so sorry to hear that you are ceasing publication. Thanks to you and all those who have been involved in the publishing and the contributing over the years and for inspiring us all in our stamping journey. x
ReplyDeleteThat makes me really sad! You did an amazing job with this magazine. It will be missed! I hope you have a new job lined up. It's a terrible time right now to be looking for something. I wish you all the best!
ReplyDeleteNooooo! I just found this magazine. Sad news indeed xx
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear this news. I would always get issues when I could and have saved every issue. I learned so much and always enjoyed perusing the colorful pages. I wish you and everyone at the magazine all the best.
ReplyDeleteNot only is this sad but I can't quite believe none of the other publishing houses (Aceville, Practical Publishing, Immediate Media…) were interested to grab the business to add to their current portfolio. None of their current titles are of Craft Stamper calibre and are not aimed at the advanced crafter, which we all tend to become after a few years...
ReplyDeleteI hope on a personal level, Trish, that you are on your way to good (maybe even better) things.
Good luck to the whole team!
so sad , my favorite magazine :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully some others will pick up on the need for a magazine of this calibre in the UK and re employ all concerned. I have collected many issues over the years and the projects are timeless unlike the numerous card making magazines that fill the shelves. Sorry to see this unique magazine go.
ReplyDeleteHi Trish, I was a bit shocked today to say the least when a Patchwork and Quilting magazine came through my letterbox. This was the first I heard about the magazine ending. Even more of a surprise was that without asking me they had transferred my subscription to this magazine which it appears they have taken money for it. The on-line contact didn't seem to work very well but after some time waiting I did get an answer on the phone. The gentleman was very polite but couldn't explain why they felt it was okay to transfer my subscription without permission from me or why they can manage to produce other magazines but not the Craft Stamper. I have subscribed to the magazine since it first started so this is really disappointing but it was the fact that they hadn't bothered to contact me before taking money from my bank account without first asking that has bothered me the most. Going to miss you Trish and hope you are able to move on to something new. Sending my best wishes to you, Angela x
ReplyDeleteHi Trish, I had the same letter today telling me the good news that I was now subscribed to Patchwork and Quilting. It may have been good news to the publisher but not to me - I hate needlework and I think they have an absolute cheek. Needless to say the magazine has gone straight in the recycling bin. I have no interest in it at all. The publisher has got a cheek, I have also cancelled the subscription. Craft Stamper was my favourite magazine and I was looking forward to the future issues as I have now retired. Paper crafting had become more popular with a lot of people during the lockdown, so I down understand why the have stopped publication, it is absolute nonsense. For the publisher to expect people to invest in a new hobby after the Covid 19 crisis is ridiculous. Anyway thank you Trish for all the effort you have put into Craft Stamper over the next few years and all those who contributed to a great magazine.
ReplyDeleteJill
Hi Jill, I'm completely with you on this. They should have asked first before presuming we would want a magazine that is in no way related to papercrafting. Hope you manage to find something else though it will be difficult to find something as good. I don't know any other Uk magazines that offer the variety of techniques and amazing artists that we got in Craft Stamper. Angela x
DeleteIn common with everyone else I'm so sad and gutted that my favourite and very inspirational magazine has ceased publication. Having been a subscriber virtually since the beginning and also an occasional contributor, I feel so sorry for all the designers and staff that have lost their jobs.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the amazing inspiration given over the years and you'll be so missed.
Fliss xx
Hi all such sad news the loss of the best craft magazine on the market thank you for all of the wonderful inspirational makes. I too was sent The patchwork and quilting magazine unsolicited and without permission my subscription was transferred! They may as well have sent fly fishing for beginners for all the interest I have in patchwork I rang and cancelled my subscription.
ReplyDeleteSo, so sorry to read this sad news. This was such an awesome magazine, so disappointing. I do wish you and everyone else involved my best wishes for the future.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry and sad to read this. WISH You get the job soon and may you make a come back with a bang .
ReplyDeletePlease would you reconsider giving us back Craft Stamper? It was the only mixed media magazine in the UK . To say I'm heartbroken at your decision is no understatement . I'm devastated, I have almost every issue. Please, please reconsider your decision
