Stamp Your Art Out: Alphabets Prompt #1

Hiya!
We launched the Alphabet art call just yesterday, but as we'll all be a bit busy next week we thought we would share a prompt post today!
So.... lets remind you of the art call itself..

(all submission details can be found on yesterday's post HERE, or via the tab at the top of the page called Art Calls)

Alphabets....

Of course, alphabets are comprised of letters, and letters form words, so we'd love to see lots of stamped words used in your projects for this theme. This great card by Brenda Brown (first published in the August 2019 issue of Craft Stamper) showcases a stamped vintage advert...

Text of any kind is pefect for this theme, and adding it to your stamped art work works well. This quirky piece from Jaine Drake uses printed paper text wonderfully...

There is of course the staple of any mixed media fan, the old book page. So much text! Riikka used some wonderful text in this project first featured in September 2017...

Whilst all the prompts so far today have featured multiple words, lets not forget about using single letters in our stamped art work. Stamping, or die cutting one letter at a time can work wonderfully, both for adding a title and giving a great focal point. This stunner from Tracy Scott shows us just how to do just that...

I hope we've given you a few jumping off points today? We'd love to see all your stamped art work featuring our Alphabet theme!
