Take it Make It Challenge: Winner's Profile!

Hello!
Welcome to our Winners Profile, showcasing the Design Winner of last month's Take It Make It challenge!
The very talented winner of the July 2019 challenge is:

Maria Fischer

Maria won the challenge with this beautiful card. We loved the elegant pastel rainbow colour palette, and the sentiment is fabulous!

We asked Maria a few questions about stamping (well, we are Craft Stamper after all!)

Q: Do you think your stamping/mixed media style has changed since you began stamping, and if so, how?
A: My favourite cards to make (when they turn out well!) are CAS. I've definitely gotten better over time. By practice, and also by observing the many talented designers out there. The trick, as we all know, is 'less is more'. It's just getting the right amount of 'less' that's so difficult!

Q: Do you have a 'go-to' technique that you love to use?
A: Heat embossing never ceases to amaze me! I love it most in white, on a snippet of black cardstock for a sentiment. And who doesn't love ink blending?

Q: Do you have a favourite colour combo?
A: I do love me some rainbow colours, paired with lots of white space and a big black sentiment!

Q: Inks or paints? Or both?!
A: Inks!

Q: Can you remember the first stamp you ever bought? And do you still use it?
A: I have a wonderful old Inkadinkado stamp with vines and bird silhouettes. It's my go to for sympathy cards.

We also asked Maria to share a favourite stamped creation with us, and tell us why she likes it so much. Here is what she has chosen:

"This was a fun ink blending project. Something I did a bit differently! I blended over the masks of the silhouettes, and then I removed the masks and added black ink through the original STAMPlorations silhouette stencil" - Maria

Congratulations on being our July Design Winner Maria, it was lovely to learn a little more about you!

Do YOU fancy having a winners profile all about you on the CS blog?

The profile is part of the prize package for each Design Winner of our challenges. All you need to do is enter a creation into the challenge, then if you are voted Design Winner everyone will be reading all about you before you know it!

Blog Exclusive: Julie Owens

Good Morning!
The super talented designer of the Craft Stamper September covermount stamp is Julie Owens!
She designed this amazing face for all of you to use in your art projects:

Designed specifically without a jawline or hair, this image becomes very versatile! Adding in different face shapes or hair styles will result in multiple looks from the one design, such a great idea.
Julie shares four different projects in the September issue of the magazine, one of which is this vibrant tag:

The tag is one of a series of three, and we're sharing the other two today!
We love them, and hope you do too :)

I know I love playing aroung creating all kinds of weird and wonderful hairstyles for my art projects (and some sensible ones too sometines!), so I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Thanks so much Julie, the design is wonderful!

Take It Make It Challenge: August

Welcome to the August Take It Make It Challenge!
Take a stamp and Make something amazing!

All our challenges are stamping challenges,
with an Anything Goes theme.

That means you can create whatever your imaginations dreams up, as long as you have used a hand stamped image on your creation somewhere!
We would love to see cards, art journal pages, tags, ATC's, AT Coins, canvas, 3D projects, layouts, planner pages etc etc. The list is endlesss, basically anything you love to create!
Any themes, any colours and styles, and you may use any kind of products and brands that you wish.

As ever, we have TWO winners each month. Firstly, we have a 'Design Winner'. This winner is chosen by our design team, who vote for their top three favourite projects from all eligible entries. Whichever design gets the most votes is declared the Design Winner.
The Design Winner of the challenge will be featured across a double page spread in Craft Stamper Magazine, and will also receive a Winner's Profile feature on the blog, as well as a Guest Designer slot for a future challenge. This is such a nice way of getting you and your art noticed!

Our second winner is our 'Random Winner', who is chosen at random from ALL eligible entries of the challenge. This winner will receive the Blog Challenge prize, which this month is.....

In order to be eligible to win either prize, the project submitted must abide by our challenge guidelines. These guidelines can be found under a tab at the top of the page, or to the right on our sidebar. PLEASE read before submitting, we would hate to have to declare a wonderful project ineligible!
We have had to exclude a few entries recently that have more than one project in a blog post. Remember, we only want to see ONE project, not a set or a group, no matter how similar!

We hope that wonderful prize may tempt you to enter!

Our wonderful Design Team have created some truly wonderful art to inspire us, which we'll be sharing both in this post, and in our Inspiration post next week! Sit down, grab a cuppa and enjoy!

WOW! Wonderful work from our DT :)
So.... do you fancy having a go? Have a quick check of the guidelines, then link up using the linking tool below. We can't wait to see all your wonderful creations!
