Take it Make It Challenge: Winner's Profile!

Hello!
Welcome to our Winners Profile, showcasing the Design Winner of last month's Take It Make It challenge!
The very talented winner of the July 2019 challenge is:

Maria Fischer

Maria won the challenge with this beautiful card. We loved the elegant pastel rainbow colour palette, and the sentiment is fabulous!

We asked Maria a few questions about stamping (well, we are Craft Stamper after all!)

Q: Do you think your stamping/mixed media style has changed since you began stamping, and if so, how?
A: My favourite cards to make (when they turn out well!) are CAS. I've definitely gotten better over time. By practice, and also by observing the many talented designers out there. The trick, as we all know, is 'less is more'. It's just getting the right amount of 'less' that's so difficult!

Q: Do you have a 'go-to' technique that you love to use?
A: Heat embossing never ceases to amaze me! I love it most in white, on a snippet of black cardstock for a sentiment. And who doesn't love ink blending?

Q: Do you have a favourite colour combo?
A: I do love me some rainbow colours, paired with lots of white space and a big black sentiment!

Q: Inks or paints? Or both?!
A: Inks!

Q: Can you remember the first stamp you ever bought? And do you still use it?
A: I have a wonderful old Inkadinkado stamp with vines and bird silhouettes. It's my go to for sympathy cards.

We also asked Maria to share a favourite stamped creation with us, and tell us why she likes it so much. Here is what she has chosen:

"This was a fun ink blending project. Something I did a bit differently! I blended over the masks of the silhouettes, and then I removed the masks and added black ink through the original STAMPlorations silhouette stencil" - Maria

Congratulations on being our July Design Winner Maria, it was lovely to learn a little more about you!
