Take It Make It Blog Challenge: DT CALL!

The first term for the Take It Make It design team is nearly over, so we are looking to recruit an equally talented and dedicated team going forward from September!

You need to be able to:

-Commit to making two STAMPED pieces of artwork to a specified theme each month. The DT term is six months, starting with the September 2014 challenge.
-Be able to take a good photo of your work for inclusion on the blog (this doesn't have to be pro standard but it does need to be clear, in crisp focus, and reasonably well lit);
-Subscribe to or be able to purchase Craft Stamper so you know what our magazine is all about!
-Have a reasonably active blog;
-Have an active Facebook account. The DT is run via a closed FB group, so members must be able to access and participate in this group!
-Be prepared to promote your challenge artwork on your own blog, on Facebook and other outlets with which you have involvement;
-Be able to turn your artwork around promptly with relatively short notice (2/3 weeks).

You get to have your art featured on our blog alongside the regular CS DT and we will link your artwork back to your personal blog. We will also include your blog details on our sidebar.

If you want to be part of the Craft Stamper family then please send THREE examples of your best stamped work to by MONDAY 14TH JULY 2014
Good luck!

  1. I would love to apply, but we don't get the magazine until too late, here in the antipodes. :-)

    1. Hi Maxine! The DT all work to challenges set ahead of the publication dates, so the challenge technique is explained in detail without seeing the actual mag first! We currently have DT members from outside the UK, and we would LOVE to have more!!! Hope to see your application soon :)

  2. I am moire of a card maker then a altered art person but love my craftstamper magazine and would love to be on the DT how would this affect my application.

  3. Hi Bon!
    It wouldn't affect your application at all! We are looking for talented stampers, and it really doesn't matter if they use their stamping on cards, layouts, journal pages,altered art or 3D assemblage. We all love to create different things, and we would like the DT to reflect that!

  4. Hi if would love to be part of the craft stamper family, I did enter for the last design team call but didn't really send in my best work. Is it ok to try again this time?

  5. Hi Debs! Of course it is OK! Looking forward to seeing your application! xx

  6. Can the samples be of cards I have made in the past or do cards need to be ones "unseen" by others... eg on my blog or fb. Thanks

  7. Hi Bron!
    The samples can be anything you have created that you consider to be a good example of your best stamped work. It doesn't matter if they have been published on FB, blogs, in magazines before etc, if you love them, we want to see them!! xxxxx

  8. How awesome!!! That is such a great opportunity! Sending mine in!
    Thanks! xo

  9. I'm also very tempted since I really love my Craft Stamper magazine, but I do not think that it is reasonable regarding the time I have available to manage all... I will think this through, thank you. x

  10. Email sent... :) exciting opportunity, Laura Mackie

  11. Email sent in the spirit of "nothing ventured, nothing gained" .

    Good luck to one and all.

    Enjoy looking at all the eye candy from the call. I don't envy your decision!
