Stamp Your Art Out: Blossom Prompt #2

Hello!
We're back today with some more eye candy for you.... some inspirational stamped art work that might inspire you to submit a project for our current art call!

Blossom

Last week we shared some ideas using floral images, the whole 'blossom' look. This week is no different! How about going big and bold?
This stunning ATC made by Tracy Scott for our October 2018 issue is gorgeous:

So bright and zingy! Another designer renowned for her bright and zingy floral designs is Jo Firth-Young. This absolute stunner from our March 2017 issue is just one example of the kind of art work her stamps can produce!

As well as going big and bold, using floral images to create texture is another way to create wonderful art work. Anneke De Clerck used pink wool to create this statement flower for our May 2017 issue:

Layering up the floral images also creates great texture, as this project by Ruth Mescall from the May 2018 issue shows:

Why not think about creating a floral or blossom themed make that is a little outside of the box? To be precise, not just out of the box but on a bottle! Riikka Kovasin created this trio of blossom adorned bottles for our April 2019 issue:

Of course, flowers are naturally a 3D item, so creating 3D items using a floral theme is an logical step to take! Sarah Anderson showed us how to make this stunning flower decoration in our April 2019 issue:

That AALL & Create Freestyle Flowers set is a very popular one!
As with last week, we're finishing up today with a classically beautiful card created with a blossom theme. Ingrid Vichova created this elegant alcohol inked card for our June 2018 issue. She created gorgeous flowers from vellum, providing a stunning focal point to her work:

We hope you've been inspired by the gorgeous work from our designers! To submit a project for the blossom theme, check out our post last week to see how you go about it!
We can't wait to see what you create!

Stamp Your Art Out: Blossom Prompt #1

Good morning!
We launched the latest Art Call for the Craft Stamper Stamp Your Art Out feature on the blog yesterday..... So here we are today with some inspiration for you, perhaps a bit of eye candy to prompt you to get creating?

The theme this time?

Blossom

Of course, a blossom is a flower, so let's think all things floral! We can go for a single bloom, Kim Dellow created this fabulous art work for our November issue back in 2017:

There is always the option of multiple flowers, the more the merrier! Tracy Evans created a tumbling fall of blossom for our April 2019 issue:

Blossom can be created from other things too, and used to adorn your stamped art work. This would fit perfectly with our theme! Why not create blooms from tissue, as Anna-Karin Evaldsson did in our February 2017 issue:

Emilia Sieradzan created some AMAZING flowers from foamarian in our October 2017 issue:

Of course, you don't have to make the blossom yourself, there are many ready made flowers out there too. Add these to a piece of stamped art to join in with the theme this month, perhaps these wonderful decorations by Lynne Moncrieff (March 20170 issue) will inspire you?

Then of course there is flower SHAPED art! This will also fit in with our blossom theme! This fabulous piece created using flower shaped frames was created by Sam Read for our July 2017 issue:

I think we should end this first prompt post with a classic... just beautifully coloured, delicate, elegant blossom! This card was created by Anna-Karin Evaldsson for our October 2017 issue:

Well? Have we inspired you?! I think I've inspired myself :)
To submit a piece of stamped art for the Art Call, please hop on over to our post yesterday THURSDAY with another Blossom inspired prompt post!

Take It Make It Challenge: February

Welcome to the January Take It Make It stamping challenge!
Take a stamp and make something amazing!

All our challenges have an
Anything Goes theme.

That means you can create whatever your imagination dreams up, as long as you have used a hand stamped image on your creation somewhere!
We would love to see cards, art journal pages, ATC's, ATCoins, canvas, 3D projects, layouts, jewellery, planner pages etc etc. The list is endless, create something you love and then share it with us!
Any themes, any styles, any colours. You may use whatever brands and products you wish.

We have TWO winners each month. Firstly, we have our Design Winner. This winner is chosen by our design team, who vote for their top three favourites from all eliglible entries. Whichever design gets the most votes is declared the winner!
The Design Winner of the challenge will be featured across a double page spread in Craft Stamper magazine, will recieve a winner's profile post here on the blog, and will have a Guest Designer slot in an upcoming challenge. Such a nice way to get you and your art noticed!

The second winner is our randomly chosen winner. This winner is selected at random from all eligible entries, and wins the Blog Challenge prize. This month, the prize is.....

Suz Humphreys

LOVE the wonderful array of projects! Thank you Design Team :)

So.... have a read of the guidelines, create something amazing and upload it so we all can see. Can't wait!

Unfortunately, we're having to exclude more and more entries from the challenge. PLEASE go and look at the full guidelines, but as a brief checklist, these are the important points to remember:
  • Entries MUST have stamping on them, stamping created with a polymer or rubber stamp.
  • Entries MUST only contain ONE project in the post. Not a set, not a group, not variations on a theme. Just ONE project.
  • Entries MUST mention Craft Stamper and link back to THIS POST.
  • Only THREE (separate, NOT in the same post ) entries per person in total please.
We will be sending out gentle reminders from now on, so please read everything in the guidelines before you upload. These can be found under the tab at the top, or on the sidebar to the right. Thank you.

Take It Make It Challenge: New DT announcement!

Good Morning!
As some of you will know, we have recently had a design team call for our Craft Stamper Take It Make It blog challenge...
The Craft Stamper team are thrilled to introduce you all to our 4 new DT members.....

Ann Chuang
Deepti Malik
Fiona Randall
Kelly Stallard

We would like everyone to join us in welcoming them to the team!

We had over 50 applications for this DT call, and I can honestly say, hand on heart, that the standard was like nothing I've ever seen before in a DT call. My team can testify to the fact that at one point I actually wished I hadn't made a call in the first place, simply because I knew I was going to have to turn down some exceptionally talented people, many of whom I would call friends. So, for those of you that were not chosen this time, PLEASE do not take it personally :) If we had space for a team of 50+, then I would have gladly accepted everyone, and everyone would have done an amazing job. Every single person that applied is a talented crafter, and I apologise that I couldn't invite all of you to the team.

Our full team will be debuting with the March challenge, but don't forget to check back in on Friday for the launch of our February challenge, with some brand new Carabelle Studios stash as our prize for the random winner! See you then!
