Take It Make It Challenge: Winners Profile

Hello!
Welcome to our Winners Profile, showcasing the Design Winner of last month's Take It Make It challenge!
The very talented winner of the December 2018 challenge is:

Gwendolyn Goh

Gwendolyn won the challenge with this amazing card. We loved the fab images, the colouring is gorgeous!

We asked Gwendolyn a few questions about stamping (well, we are Craft Stamper after all!)

Q: How long have you been a stamper, and how did you get started?
A:

I’ve been stamping since July 2016 and before that I didn’t even know what a stamp or die was! I got started when I wanted to offer my best friend in France a scrapbooking album of our 17 year friendship. I gave myself 1 month to complete it, she only got it 2 years later... It was such a huge project that I never touched another paper object till I started stamping 3 years after that. LoL!

Q: What are your favourite kind of stamps, and do you have a favourite stamp company?
A:

I love floral stamps, and my favourite for those are The Ton or Altenew but I’m trying to make more cute cards and my winning card is one of my few attempts at it.

Q: Describe your style, are you a 'messy' kind of stamper or do you have more of a clean and simple style?
A:

I’m more a one layer card maker, in-between clean and messy.

Q: What kind of projects do you like creating the most?
A:

I love creating watercolour cards and I would love to be a professional artist one day.

Q: Apart from stamps, what is the one product you wouldn't be without when you craft?
A:

My watercolour paints!

We also asked Gwendolyn to share some of her favourite stamped creations with us, and tell us why she likes them so much. Here is what she has chosen:

"I’m particularly proud of this stamped card created during The Daily Marker 30 day challenge in response to Katy’s challenge for us to create a large colouring project. It involved a lot of stamping and masking and trying not to get lost when water-colouring!" -Gwendolyn

"For this card, I’m proud of the background I created as it was the first time I used my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers to create a scene and I was so pleased at how it turned out" - Gwendolyn
