Be part of the Stamping Contrasts Challenge!

Would you like to play along with our popular Stamping Contrasts challenge?

Our next challenge is sponsored by Visible Image who have supplied these gorgeous Thinking of You stamps for our designers to play with. For the first time, we are asking one of our readers to be an additional guest designer - it could be you!!!

Fancy giving it a go?
Post link to a favourite card here or post a picture on our Facebook post (make sure you include stamping) and say something about it. Add a blog link if you have one (not a requirement).

We will choose our favourite designer to take part in the challenge. You will be provided with a free of charge stamp set which you get to keep. Your makes will be showcased on the Craft Stamper blog.

You must be able to:

  • Produce two items of art using the stamp set and send them to us for photography (we will return them)
  • Write up details of your makes that we can publish on the blog.
  • Do all this by 25th April (stamps will be posted by 4th April)
Good luck! Entries close midnight 2nd April (international submissions welcome)

    http://craftycardsbymarg.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/crafting-musketeers-blog-challenge-9.html
using a stamp set from Visible Image. The card was my DT project for a challenge blog I am on. It is a collection of stamped rose images on thin card, slightly distressed, with a stamped little chipboard tag, added dark coloured flowers, stamped the word "Love" and added a metal key (as in the key to my heart). I actually loved what I had created in the end. I would love the opportunity to be a guest designer for your lovely magazine, thank you for the chance to shine! ;)

  9. Hi Katy, this is the link to the card that I am putting forward for the challenge. http://castlekellycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/add-something-pink-challenge-entry.html
It was an entry for a challenge on Lavinia Stamps for March titled Add Something Pink. I'm not a pink person normally but really enjoyed doing something out of my usual 'comfort zone'. I would love to be considered for the guest designer position as I enjoy trying out new techniques and challenges which stretch my creative abilities. Many thanks for looking at my entry, Regards Jane.

  10. It's hard to chose a favourite but I have chosen this card - http://www.thefatcactus.co.uk/?p=1389 which features several stamps from Visible Images. I really enjoyed creating my own background as well as colouring the fabulous 'Edgar'! Thanks for the opportunity to try out for this post,
    Teresa

  11. Here is a link to my latest favourite stamped project, including my favourite colours of the moment
    http://www.creativemakings.co.uk/2014/03/discoversarahs-stamps.html
The combination of colours allowed me to create depth and different layers of stamping, so in this instance the only patterned paper used was the actual project page.
Thank you for the opportunity to be considered.

  12. Wow This is a fabulous opportunity! I have a card on my blog made a week or two ago after having a read Craft Stamper in bed the night before - I then spent the Saturday getting inky with some Distress Inks, Black Archival, rubber stamps and bottle tops!!! I also dug out a stencil and did some heat embossing too. The main image is a digital stamp coloured with Promarkers but the background does have rubber stamping. This would be an amazing experience to have a go at this, here is the link to my project on my blog. http://maureenjscott.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/colours-of-sea-recipe-challenge-at.html

  14. Just seen this so thought I'd have a go - an avid stamper I thought I'd show you a tag card I made recently for a friend - http://www.elliescupboard.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/tag-group-number-2-march-2014.html. This one uses a number of techniques and Heartfelt Creations stamps. Thanks for looking.
